I'm a photographer. Not by trade or fancy training, kind of by accident! Well what does that mean?  It all started when I was a Junior in high school and a member of the yearbook staff. My duties were to take pictures and that's what I did.  I was known as the girl around campus who always had a camera.  My passion for photography developed into something much more than just capturing random shot for the school yearbook.  It had to be perfect, just the right angle, just the right shot, to capture the eye of its viewer.

After high school graduation I sort of let the passion for photography fade, as I was focusing on earning my college degree from Auburn University Montgomery.  I did just that in the Summer of 2010 earning my B.S. in Education.  After working in the Early Childhood field for the next few years , I decided to once again pick up the lens to see if the passion I once experienced for photography was still there.

Starting in 2012, I made a small investment, by purchasing a Canon T3i camera and decided to put my talents to work.  After numerous request and so much positive feed back I decided to start La-Unique photography, after a few successful sessions and a well deserved name change, L & R Photography has flourished into something I have become proud of.  Many of my clients have been referrals which makes me proud that people are mentioning my work!

I am extremely Thankful for all that has become of my small business and I have high hope and aspirations for L & R Photography in the future!
